Islam Community Center in NYC, do you support it?

Warning: If you oppose the community center/mosque in NYC you better bring a logical argument or get out of here because I'll call you a dumb bigot.

As I'm sure you all know, there have been plans to build a community center 2 or 3 blocks from Ground Zero in New York. And all the racists in America are crawling out of the woodwork over this.

Here are some shining examples of stupidity.

Anyone who comes in here with a pure appeal to emotion argument will be laughed at.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Do you support what Wikileaks is doing?

As you may already know, Wikileaks has leaked a thousands of documents titled "War Diary". Inside is a countless number of documented war crimes committed by Americans, but it's suspected that the names of many Afghan informants are included as well.
Some people believe leaking this document would endanger the informants, and are condemning Wikileaks.

In my opinion, Wikileaks did the world a great service by leaking these documents. Hopefully it makes the public outraged and bring the end of the war like Vietnam. But unfortunately with the way most people are reacting, it's going to backfire on Wikileaks. People are ignoring all the war crimes committed by America and the fact that the war is total bullshit, and instead focusing on the names of the informants. The government and the Pentagon are diverting attention away from themselves and pointing at Wikileaks for something that isn't even important.

What gives the government the right to send our young citizens to another country and screw their country up even more. Bush, Cheney, Obama, and Congress need to face their crimes for starting this retarded war. I'm mentioning Obama too because he's continuing the war and didn't outright end it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

TMUO Closed Beta Thread

Now that The Mushroom Universe Online is entering closed beta, I figured it was time for a new thread.

Royce and I have decided that we're going to do a closed beta, but there won't be any beta keys. If you are invited, Royce will send a link. Please do not share this link. Yes, you could give it to anyone and they could get in, but please don't. I don't want to have to kick everyone and start handing out beta keys.

Royce will be inviting 5 new players every week, so if you don't get invited the first time, you can still get in. There isn't all that much to see in game right now anyway. I haven't made as much progress as I would have liked the last couple of months, but I will be making much more progress from now on.

My current plan is to do an update every week if I can.
Some things can be updated more often such as the website, but unless there is a major bug I'm not going to constantly update the server and client code on my server. I'll work on stuff, and hold on to the updated binaries until I'm ready for the weekly release.

I'll be updating this thread when I update the game and provide details of what has been fixed/changed since the last release so everyone can track the game's progress.

Feel free to discuss the game here, but like I said earlier; please don't give out the link to the game just yet.

Anyone wanna try out a program I wrote?

Its called ArmadaF(x), its basically a math program that I wrote in C.

Give it a good testing, and ask any questions you have hear, or any criticisms. I'd like to hear them so I can improve my program. Right now it works how I like it, but it might not work so well for you.

Also, if there is any math related thing you'd like to see in there, just ask and I'll work on getting it in there because I'm about out of ideas.

What games are you into now?

What games have you been hooked to recently?

I've been hooked to playing Zombie Survival on Garry's Mod, and SMOD (Super Mod) for Half Life 2.

In Zombie Survival, everyone starts as a human, but one person is a zombie, if you get killed you become a zombie. The humans try to survive for 20 minutes, but it doesn't get exciting till the last couple minutes when there are more zombies than humans and zombies can do more damage :P

And SMOD is a Mod for Half Life 2, you get more guns and some different effects like if you get hit your whole screen will blur. There are more, and they're easy to turn on and off. My favorite weapon has to be the Sticky Bomb launcher because if you do enough damage to a enemy they'll explode and send blood everywhere.
Also Gordon can kick, and you kick dead ragdolls on the ground and blow them up. :P
